Radio Nipaa in Sisimiut

A radioteam of af Jesper Noer from Nuuk and Robert Birthwell from USA visited the town
in October 2011, where an antenna was put up and transmission equiptment and tested.

There were a defect in the system, so no signal came out to the town. In November a new transmitter and amplifier was put
in and tested and the result was fine. The whole town is covered with a very strong signal.
